Students may elect to take up to three classes per week; however where practical students may request to take fewer classes and spread their training over a longer period than the recommended 4 weeks. The basic class will teach spun glass torch work and an average student will be competent to create saleable pieces of spun glass and jewelry at the end of their 12 session course. The advance class will teach basic glass blowing techniques enabling students to produce a number of 'blown items' including vases and hollow swans (Master Roberts’s signature piece!)Students must complete the basic course before proceeding to the advanced level.
